Our waiter Frank was nothing short of amazing! He made sure we were well taken care of and the red fish was soooooo delish! The ambience is pretty standard just casual eating but the food was delish! Thanks Frank for great service!

Service and food were exceptionally good . The crab cake and sword fish were so delicious ! The others I tried , I could give or take but still good. I don't even see the garlic bread on the menu anymore, but I think they can make that better still. The one part I did not like about their menu is they don't offer anything for the husbands who just want a burger but their wives dragged them here. They did not offer any steaks, burgers, or anything other than seafood which was disappointing, most seafood still offers something for the simple folk. For this reason we probably won't be back just because my husband can't be tricked twice by the same place, I would even if it was just for the crab cake and drinks! The bar is a nice classy bar to sit at and enjoy a nice cocktail and get away from the busy dirty streets of bourbon street.

This is one of a few catch-serve restaurants in this area. Catch-serve means you caught the fish and they'll cook it for you. Alejandro cooked 2 fillets of red fish and 2 of sheep's head. He discussed with us what the rest of the dinner would be and we agreed on an appetizer of fried fish bites with a dipping sauce, then blackened fish with asparagus, dirty rice, and hash. This experience was 5-star. Alejandro is a sous-chef. The flavors, the complimentary textures, the complimentary way the food was prepared (the hash had some oil to it while nothing else did) were impressive. Kevin was our server. I'm just not used to a server taking that level of care of us. The owner and managers happened to be seated at dinner as well. Yes, I briefly interrupted their service to express compliments. We were tourists and that was our last night in New Orleans. Thank you for the experience!

This place was ok. It's on Bourban Street and similar feel to that of a Cheesecake Factory. Missing the New Orleans ambiance. With so many other eatery options, I would pick something more intimate. The food was fine. We ordered a Po'boy, gumbo, and fried fish bites. All satisfactory but nothing exquisitely memorable. The service was fine as well; only it was so loud, it was difficult to hear the waitress.

Service was awesome and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The garlic cheddar bread could use more garlic and more cheddar. The bbq shrimp and bbq oysters were amazingly delicious for something so basic. My husband almost canceled his entree order to get an another serving of the bbq shrimp. He was happy when his red fish with shrimp came and said that it was lite and delicious. Desserts were A+. This place was energetic and lively. You could hear all of the happenings from the street and still hear all of the laughs from within the restaurant. Dining with friends is always a plus and they picked a good place that we hadn't tried. I'd definitely come back here.

We had a conference dinner here, and it was absolutely wonderful! All of the food was delicious. The hors d'oeuvres were excellent: BBQ fried oysters and BBQ fried shrimp. I couldn't stop eating the fried oysters. I got the Grilled Red Fish with Shrimp, and it was just what the server promised. Definitely what they are known for. The setting made for a great place for us to chat and catch up for hours. Excellent service - the server was super attentive.

We had no wait and Ciara is our server and she is fantastic! We also met the manager Jimmy! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Really a great guy :-). Jimmy is also the hardest working man here! Starters is the cheddar garlic bread with chimi churri and alligator sausage & seafood gumbo. Wow! Delicious and we haven't even got to the main course yet. The ambiance is really nice the lights are dimmed low and great music. I highly recommend that you check it out!

As a local dining in the Quarter, I'm surprised I was not utterly disappointed. I made a reservation here after experiencing dire hunger at a seminar. We were quickly seated upon arrival. It's a pretty big dining space with a New Orleans theme. I ordered the Baked Gulf Shrimp Bienville, Wood Grilled Redfish with Louisiana Shrimp, and Double Chocolate Bread Pudding. The Baked Gulf Shrimp Bienville was pretty good although the shrimp were rather bland. The stuffing was delicious! The redfish was easy to eat. It was light and properly seasoned, as redfish should be. However, like the appetizer, the shrimp were on the bland side. It's a shame because the shrimp were pretty big and plump. The bread pudding was more like a moist brownie. I personally didn't taste what I expect a bread pudding to taste like. But, if you enjoy chocolate, you might like this! I really like that this was served steaming hot, which was a bit strange too since my appetizer and entree were room temperature. Service was okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad. Overall, I did not find this restaurant to truly reflect NOLA flavors, but it's a nice spot if you want to grab a bite of food.

This was a great spot to have dinner at in New Orleans. I came on a Thursday night and was a party of two. I was seated right away. Service was great and attentive. My friend and I split the blackened mahi-mahi and the redfish. Both dishes were very good but the blackened mahi-mahi was definitely better, the seasoning on it was just lovely. For cocktails, I had the mango habanero margarita, the blueberry thyme cocktail and the sangria. All of them were delicious and I'm sure any other cocktail the menu would be delicious too. I definitely had to try the signature bread pudding Here. You have to order that dessert while you're ordering food because it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to be prepared. And I'm so glad I ordered it. It was definitely my favorite part of the meal. It was super rich and dense, needs to be shared with two people, can even be shared with three people. This is a nice spot for a nice dinner without spending extremely fancy dinner prices.
